Company Summary

ScenicView began in early 1999 as a concerned parent searched for the perfect place for her son with learning disabilities. Regardless of how hard she tried, she could not find an establishment committed to the betterment of her son while encouraging a clean, uplifting lifestyle. She found many interested families and professionals having a similar desire to better serve the needs of individuals with learning disabilities. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on June 27th, 2000 marking the beginning of a formalized ScenicView program. The dedication took place on February 22nd, 2001, after which the first resident was accepted. From our small beginning, ScenicView now includes five additional buildings. These buildings include two eight-plex apartment buildings, a shared living apartment building, a commons building, a green house, and a community center that serves the educational programs of ScenicView as well as other community activities. Today our entire landscaping, custodial, kitchen, and maintenance work is provided by the students themselves
