Sargent Foods LLC, WBENC certified woman-owned business, was created in May of 2012 by Marianne Sargent, a food industry professional with a B.S. degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Michigan State University, graduate work in Food Science, and over 30 years’ experience in food ingredients and product development. Her goal to develop products that are both healthy and delicious is realized in the company’s first product, Rockin’ola, launching January, 2013 in schools across America. Rockin'ola is a combination of incredibly flavorful whole grain granola clusters and tasty real yogurt –freeze-dried with live and active cultures. Kids are typically exposed to many "not so nutritious" options for snacking, and it is essential to have wholesome healthful snack choices available that they will enjoy. Offering healthy snack choices in school is a great way to introduce these healthy options.

Rockin'ola was tested, and APPROVED, by students. And, even though it was developed originally as a healthy snack for kids, adults are crazy about it, too!

Rockin’ola meets the new USDA "Nutrition Standards in the School Lunch and School Breakfast Program" requirements for more whole grains. It has NO artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, HFCS, or unhealthy fats. A 1.1 oz serving qualifies as a 1 oz equivalent Creditable Grain for Child Nutrition Programs per SP 30-2012.
