About Us:

Conveniently located in Troy, we are independently owned and operating as the only Pivot Point Member School in Oakland & Macomb County. We are not affiliated with any other schools in the area.

Michigan College of Beauty, one of the first Pivot Point member schools, was founded in 1965 by Mr. Armand Dagenais. Mr. Armand, a hairstylist and a salon owner, dedicated himself to providing the best training possible for individuals entering the beauty industry. In 1997 the school was purchased by his son, Mr. D, who continues to fulfill his father's vision and directs the school in his honor.

Michigan College of Beauty is licensed by the State of Michigan Board of Cosmetology. Our free standing main building, built in 1988, has 11,000 square feet of space designed and equipped for Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Esthetics training. Additional 7,000 square feet of classroom space, located 1/4 mile from the main building, was constructed in 2001.

Since its inception, Michigan College of Beauty, has set the highest standards for our graduates to meet the requirements of Michigan State Board of Cosmetology. We endeavor to generate quality students who will be a credit to our school and the industry.
