Kimal Lumber is one of the few independent lumber dealers still in business in Southwest Florida. We are continually changing to meet the challenging ''New World'' after the downturn and the end of the housing boom.

We are driven by our customer's needs and always strive to discover new products, systems and technologies that will move us into the future-because the future is really where it's at.

woodsmallKimal Lumber opened in 1981 during a recession year, by Al Bavry and Kim Pavkovich (both came from Wickes Lumber). Kim and Al became the partners ''KimAI'' and the business began with 9 employees. In 1983 a new pre-hung door operation was opened. Since then the company has grown steadily from its inception into 6 separate locations, including an Exterior Window and Door Division, a Design Center/Showroom, an Engineered Wood/Truss Division, and a Sarasota Drive-Thru Lumberyard with hardware store/showroom. In 2018 Kimal was acquired by Gulfeagle Supply Company of Tampa, Florida.
