J.Lee's Gourmet BBQ sauce is a veteran owned company, the sauce was first created by its founder James Lee at Ft. Carson Colorado in 1999. James continued to make the sauce for soldiers and their families throughout Germany, Korea and different state side duty stations for social events and cook outs. The sauce was bottled late June 2013 and introduced to the public. Since released in 30 weeks over 15,000 bottles sold 21 Stores 6 Restaraunts and the product has gone international, being sold in Switzerland. Within the 30 weeks the sauce was entered into a National BBQ Sauce Competition (1st Competition) with over 500 entries nation wide and took 4th in the nation in the wrong catagory (Fruit Mild) which there is no fruit concentrate in the product placing it in the Top 1% in the nation.
