Our Story

The Health Sense story begins as a love story about two
people who have a big heart for helping others. In 2003,
Rich Geraci left his sunny home state of Florida to venture
out to beautiful Austin, Texas on a physical therapy hospital assignment. Shortly thereafter he met his future wife, Denise
Jackson. They fell in love and later married.

Both Rich and Denise felt that they were destined to do
something more with their lives, something worthwhile.
They both believed that it was important to help others.Being committed to the Austin area, Rich started a therapy
staffing company that specialized in the home health setting
that serves the greater Austin community.

In 2007, Rich and Denise began a home health agency to provide healthcare services directly to homebound people, their
families, and the local community.

Rich and Denise's philosophy of helping others extends beyond
the patients they care for. They realize that the people providing care, the hard working nurses, therapists, aides and others, determine the success of the company and greatly impact the success of each patient's recovery. As such, it's the founders' mission to provide a great place to work for the people who make the magic happen.
