Coach House Garages was founded in 1973 by Willis Miller of Arthur, IL. Mr. Miller, a local Amish gentleman, started the company as a small operation working from his home in rural Arthur. Mr. Miller's basic principle was to build a quality building and take care of his customers. Mr. Miller found a ready market for his craftmanship and attention to detail.

That same year, Roger Gadberry established a dealership in Decatur for Mr. Miller's garage buildings. With one dealer and three employees, Coach House was on it's way to becoming the premier garage buider in the state of Illinois. Mr. Miller found that other areas liked his building technique, and over the years more dealers were added. Currently there are 25 sales offices located throughout Illinois, portions of Iowa, Missouri, and Indiana.

The Coach House name continues to spread as one customer tells another about the Coach House experience. Quality, value, and craftmanship are things that are never outdated. Mr. Miller's basic principles of customer service and quality have provided a solid foundation on which to build a company.
