Araca Incorporated is a start-up company founded in 2004 by several individual and corporate investors. Our headquarters is in Tucson (AZ) with a branch office in Mesa (AZ).

We provide unique, enabling and fully customized solutions to our clients in the integrated circuit planarization and semiconductor polishing fields worldwide.

We are committed to providing the following services to our clients related to 100 to 450 mm processes and platforms:
oAnalytical and functional testing of consumables (i.e. pads, slurries, post-CMP cleaning brushes and chemicals, diamond discs, seals and retaining rings) as well as slurry and wet chemical mass flow control systems.
oPad surface preparation, grooving, lamination, QC, final packaging and distribution.
oPad reuse.
oProcesses physics and simulation.
oProcess and consumables co-development.

We develop slurry injection systems (SIS) for equipment and IC makers to improve yield and reduce cost of ownership (COO) through defect reduction and lower slurry consumption. We have partnered with Levitronix and Ebara Precision Machinery Europe (EPME) to globally proliferate our product. Levitronix manages the sales, distribution and product support for SIS for Applied Materials and SpeedFam IPEC polishers. EPME does the same for the Ebara platforms.

In collaboration with Fujikoshi Machinery Corporation (Nagano, Japan), we manufacture state-of-the-art 200 and 300 mm polishers capable of real-time measurement, analysis, correlation and reporting of shear force and down force as well as other key CMP process metrics such as pad temperature and tribological mechanism.

By installing a simple interface module to the 300 mm polishing head, we can easily convert our 300 mm polisher to a 450 mm polisher for R&D purposes.

Our clients include leading consumables suppliers, CMP tool and component manufacturers, universities, research centers, IC makers and ISMI.
