AES Electrical, Inc. is the parent company of Freestate Electric and T.A. Beach Corp. AES was organized in 1989 as a California Corporation and served as the holding company for a small commercial electrical construction company in northern California. In the late 1990's both Freestate and T.A. Beach were purchased by a large Fortune 500 company and rolled up into AES. In July of 2006, AES was taken private by the former owners of Freestate, and the California company was sold back to its former owners.



Today, AES' four operating divisions are Freestate Electrical of Maryland, Freestate Electrical of Virginia, Freestate Electrical Service Company and T. A. Beach Corp. The bulk of AES' business is conducted in the Washington, DC metro area, and AES' field employees are proud members of IBEW Local 26. In total, AES employs over 700 dedicated craftsmen and professionals, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on our proven track record of providing top quality workmanship, outstanding customer service and creative and cost effective solutions for our clients.
